Rates and Policies

We only take on one booking per day to ensure you are not rushed.

Costs are in large part based on our fuel costs which are affected by number of passengers (weight) and duration of trip.

You Need to Know

All prices are plus taxes & fees.

  • Pre-Paid full amount at time of booking
  • Payment forfeited If you cancel for any reason, or do not show up
  • Weather – We monitor the marine conditions 24 hours prior to departure including the morning of the departure date. We reserve the right to cancel the sailing without notice and without penalty, or liability to you for any expenses either direct, or indirect due to unsafe marine conditions in which case you will receive a complete refund. We will not cancel just because it is raining. If, however, you wish to reschedule due to inclement weather conditions, or other unforeseen reasons we will do so without extra charge.

Hourly Boat and Captain

Book Hourly
  • $300 / hr - minimum 3 hours based on 1, or 2 passengers. Add $50.00 / hour for each additional passenger after 2. Hourly rates are not available for our tours

Private Boat Tours 3 to 5 hours (varies with shore time)

Book Private Boat Tour
  • $1,100.00 based on 1, or 2 people
  • Approximate Boating time is 2 to 3 hours. Additional time as required for stops.
  • Passenger Fuel surcharge $50.00 extra per person (extra weight = extra fuel)
  • Time & Distance Fuel surcharge will be quoted if not leaving from Sidney, or from one of the Southern Gulf Islands, or traveling beyond the general vicinity of the southern Gulf Islands / northern San Juans areas
  • Tours typically start at 11:00 am but flexible scheduling is available for all tours
  • Customize any of our pre-planned tours to your preference and make it a charter
  • This section is for our Captains Tour, Wine & Cheese Tour, Historic Lighthouse Tour, and Pelagic Bird Watching Tours

Shuttle Water Taxi Services southern Gulf Islands

Book Water Taxi
  • $395.00 one way (return included if no more than 45 minutes waiting time) based on 2 people
  • $25.00 extra per extra person
  • Inter-island service between islands
  • Salt Spring, Galiano, Penders, Saturna, Mayne, Cowichan Bay, Genoa Bay, Mill Bay, Sidney Island and other smaller area islands
  • Custom quotes for other more distant locations and situations

Scattering Human or Pet Ashes

  • $495.00 based on 2 people
  • $50.00 extra per extra person
  • maximum passengers is 10 - if more people we can supply a 2nd boat, or do 2 runs
  • $395.00 / ashes without passengers | $100 extra for multiple ashes at same time
  • No extra charge to scatter multiple ashes when booking with passengers
  • 90 Minute round trip
  • A fuel and time surcharge will be quoted if not sailing from Sidney, or if custom destination outside of this general aea is requested

Saturday Salt Spring Island Market

Book Saturday Market
  • $275.00 / person with a 2 person minimum
  • organize a group of up to 9 people and price is capped at $995.00 total effectively reducing the price to as low as $110.00 pp.
  • different route for return trip passes by Galiano, Mayne, Saturna and Pender islands for more coastal sightseeing

Race Rocks Marine Park

Book Race Rocks
  • $1,200.00 for 1 or 2 persons; add $50 / extra person
  • This is a bit more expensive due to fuel costs and the distance from our home base in Sidney
  • If more convenient for you we can pick you up from Oak Bay Marina, or Pedder Bay Marina if you prefer not to start with us in Sidney

Custom Private Boat Charters

  • Custom Priced & Tailored to your needs
  • Customize any of our pre-planned tours to your preference and make it a charter
  • Custom corporate and media charters such as the one we did in Vancouver for 1 week for Hugo Boss
  • Weddings & Other Special Occassions: Island transfers for guests to and from your venue. Pre- or post-ceremony cruises around the Gulf Islands

Private Whale Watching Tours 4 hours

Book Private Whale Watching
  • $1,500.00 flat rate based on 2 people
  • Passenger Fuel surcharge $50.00 extra per person. Maximum persons for whale watching tours is 7 to facilitate optimal viewing for everyone
  • Add $300 / hour if wish to extend trip beyond 4 hours for either whale watching and/or island hoping / stoping/ sightseeing / lunch or dinner stops, etc.
  • Whale watching trips can vary in duration and distance depending on location of widlife hence extra fuel costs to also then stay with the whales for a while
